What do I have to offer…I don’t know!
While researching what I need to include in my personal statement for law school applications, the requirements include stating “what do you personally have to offer to _______ law school.” I’m stuck. Besides pulling out the minority card for the “diversity” they claim to want so badly, I’ve got nothing. Should I write I have a awkward/slightly ditzy sense of humor that’s sometimes considered charming? Should I write that I have an extensive knowledge of stupid movie trivia and celebrity gossip? I guess I can include that I studied in Spain for 4 months, but I’m sure everyone who studied abroad is including that.
I have to figure out how to stay on point while standing out and be creative without sounding ridiculous. UGH, I hate growing up.
