I love road rage?

So today I drove the very long 8 hours from Kansas City, Missouri to Plano, Texas by way of Oklahoma. It was a pretty uneventful drive mostly because Oklahoma in general is uneventful, but once I crossed the Red River it was a completely different story. I realized how out of practice I am with Texas drivers because the way people drove at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon was frightening. I missed it so much. I then categorized the 3 lanes into different levels of driving. It’s not the same as slow, medium, passing lane as other states because like the rest of Texas we have to be different, or in other words “better.”

Right lane: you better be driving at least the speed limit or people will assume your car is dying, you’re not from Texas, or you’re old.

Middle lane: the lane to pass the aforementioned right lane drivers if you’re in a hurry, or just if you want to go fast.

Left lane: you better be going at least 10 mph above the speed limit or you will die or at least get honked and the middle finger. Not for out-of-state drivers.
